who is behind it?

Throughout her life, Gina Aliotti has always had a sense of knowing. Her intuitive nature has guided her life’s journey personally and professionally with a sense of knowing… It has been a gift she has used to help others fully transform their mind, body, and soul with her intuitive coaching style. Gina has created a unique style and blend of using different modalities to tap into whatever her clients need at that moment or at that time in their lives.

Feathered Elements is about using all of the different elements to bring about physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual shifts. With that in mind, the space has been lovingly created for you to feel deeply supported and to nourish your soul.

My intention is to have you flying and flowing through life feeling balanced, relaxed, calm, and back in touch with who you are- not who you think the world wants you to be…

I am a fitness expert, lifestyle coach, and figure champion turned spiritual junkie. I have taken my years of fitness knowledge and combined it with spiritual wisdom to come up with a coaching method that has completely changed the way people show up for themselves and, therefore, others. Feathering all elements to embody a complete lifestyle and wellness brand that encompasses the mind, body, and soul balance.

Shannon is a women’s Clarity Coach and Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator coming along Gina in her goal to help teach the power of the breath and how this element can change your life, unlock inner peace, happiness, dismantle old beliefs, quiet the overthinking mind, build self-confidence, and remove external noise to tap into your truth.

My journey to creating this brand is like most things in life. It happened organically.

Growing up in a health-minded California family, I found my love for health, nutrition, and fitness at a young age. That naturally led me to attend college to earn a degree in Foods and Nutrition at SDSU. After graduating, I became a top IFBB Figure competitor, winning the coveted Arnold Figure Championship in 2008. As I continued to build my mind and body throughout my career, hard work and discipline became ingrained in who I was and how I pursued my goals.

In 2009, my competitive years came to an end when I chose to focus on my marriage and start a family. As a mom, I began looking for new ways to channel my competitive nature while also connecting deeply with myself and this next chapter of life. I still wanted the satisfaction of reaching my health goals, but without the intense time commitment or daily grind that could potentially lead to burnout and injury. I also wanted to be as present as possible for my family and home life.

I returned to my roots and brought back the simple workouts that I’d done with my dad before he’d dropped me off at school. With this grassroots approach to fitness, I quickly realized the power of doing less for great results. I started sharing this new style of workouts with other women from all over the world who were trying to make their fitness and health a priority, while also living busy lives. Through my 101 coaching, G-Fit App, my courses, and social platforms, I’ve helped over 10,000 women from around the globe see that less can be more, and that the REAL ideal is Quality over Quantity and Intention over Intensity. This balanced practice leads to reaching big goals in realistic ways that are maintainable and also allow for a full and balanced life.

In 2019, I began my meditation journey and have never looked back. That year I took a life-changing solo trip to New York to study under the renowned teacher Emily Fletcher and learn her amazing ZIVA technique. Her wise but simple methods, warm and natural approach, and entertaining teaching style resonated deeply with me. In the course of her 3-day intensive, I went from someone who didn’t know how the heck to even sit still to an adept meditator. I’ll never forget the words that completely shifted my relationship with meditation. Emily said, “We don’t meditate to get good at meditating. We meditate to get good at life.” BOOM, mic-drop! That’s just what I needed to hear. From that moment, I was ALL IN.

Once I returned home and really practiced her techniques, the inner expansion and clarity started to flow for me. I began incorporating meditation into my personal life and coaching. I started to witness sickness being re-versed, hormones being balanced, bodies being transformed, minds being shifted, women getting unstuck and re-motivated, and an overall sense of clarity and calm that shined from their souls.

I began to see so clearly that true health and transformation are NOT just about getting in the workouts. It’s much more about turning inward and cultivating an internal sense of calm and focus. It’s NOT about going harder. It’s about slowing down and being more intentional in everything that we do. It’s about doing less and removing the MORE mindset. This is how we make massive shifts in our minds, bodies, souls, and lives!

It quickly became very clear to me that while working out for strength and fitness is an important element of our well-being, it can’t be used to bypass the mental and emotional states of dealing with everyday life. Just like there’s a balance of the elements in nature, we need the same balance within our human design and approach to life. The FIRE element (exercise) had been my focus for so many years, but the other elements began calling for my attention. I discovered this was a common theme for most people – this need to pay attention to ALL of the elements in order to bring about the Mind- Body-Soul transformation that we’re all after.

As I got deeper into my meditation practice, I began to “channel” Mantras that serve as powerful reminders for living intentionally. Along with my journaling practice, they’ve become the magic behind my consistency game. They help me stay in the driver’s seat of my destiny. Many of my coaching clients have nicknamed me the “Mantra Queen” because these nuggets just seem to come through me when I least expect them. Sometimes, I think I speak “Mantra” like it’s a second language! No matter where they come from, I love this gift that I have of naturally seeing beauty and positivity in every aspect of life’s journey. This gift led me to write my first book, Your Feathered Soul, which is helping people from around the globe finally live the life they are meant to be living, one mantra at a time…

After my meditation practice took off, my curiosity and desire continued to grow. I wanted to learn what other modalities were out there to help us go deeper into our hearts and souls – to go beyond our physical selves. I’ve always had a passion for our physical bodies and how we have the ability to manipulate and sculpt them, but that passion expanded into how we can shift our reality and our state of being with the power of our minds. I started to lean into my inner wisdom and get to know myself beyond my body. I began to trust myself and what was coming through for me. In a world where we often don’t know what is true, one thing I could count on was my inner guide, my intuition, and my personal truth.

My continued search led me to discover breathwork, Kundalini yoga, and Akashic Records. Within my first 1-hour breathwork session, I experienced a cathartic response to the magic of my own breath. I saw myself in a totally different light. I felt like a whole being, apart from the “fit body” identity that I’d carried for so many years. It was at that moment that I started to understand how powerful we humans really are. Likewise, in my Akashic and Kundalini experiences, I began to see clearly that the answers we seek aren’t outside of us. They’re accessible within if we’re willing to slow down, get outside of our heads, open to them, and listen to our hearts.

Through each of these modalities, I witnessed our ability to change our mental & emotional states. This was top-level stuff! After experiencing this power for myself, I knew I wanted to add these new modalities to my personal and coaching practices. I wanted to help others go where real transformation begins. It’s so much more than a great workout or eating healthy. It’s about igniting our innermost potential to discover our personal power and then using that to guide us on the journey to who we’re meant to be. From my early years of competitive fitness and nutrition to my latest expansion through heart and soul training, everything has come full circle.

The brand name of “Feathered Elements” has come from my belief that when we incorporate all of earth’s natural elements into our daily life, we can fully step into our highest potential and free ourselves from unnecessary baggage holding us back. I link it to the way that a feather fans out from its core. This is how my life has spread out with each expansion that I’ve experienced. It really is a feathered approach to ALL of life’s elements that allow for a complete Mind-Body-Soul transformation. A bird has also been the powerful spirit animal that shows up when I ask for guidance and signs of my inner truth. Feathers themselves are both powerful (enabling flight) and soft (floating with the breeze). I can’t think of a better symbol for the holistic and soulful way that we’re learning to live our lives with both power and grace.

I’ve fully embraced this “feathered” approach, and now it’s my mission to share these modalities and teachings with others who are ready to step into their own magic. It’s from this deeper state of transformation that we’re able to balance and harmonize the elements within and therefore create (or recreate) that balance in our outward lives. I look forward to sharing ALL of my wisdom and guidance with you with my current offerings and some underway…
